If you met me, you'd know pretty quickly that I'm extremely passionate and move a mile-a-minute. I've always known that I want to do big things In my life and have never been one to shy away from that first step. Before I became the "Gen Z Joanna Gaines", I was a Wisconsin girl fresh out of high school, starting a blog to chase my dreams.
I didn’t always have all this: the team, the courses, the sales, the million dollar business...
I started this ‘little’ blog of mine back in 2017 as a sophomore in college and I‘ve
turned it into a massively successful business that makes me 6-figures a month (yes, that is over $100,000 a
month)!
I’m prone to freaking out and I stress to the max when I don’t have a plan so, in my
sophomore year of college, I needed a plan more than ever.
How was I supposed to pay my way through
college, have fun money to go out with my friends, do the occasional online shop haul, AND pay for an apartment?! Big yikes.
One day, I was scrolling through Pinterest and found an income report from a mommy blogger that she was making
$10,000 on her blog. FROM. HOME. Wait, what?! I thought to myself, if this woman can make that
much from home, then I can make that much from my dorm room.
Now I Share My Story to Help You Change Yours
In September 2017, I started my blog. Just three months later, $600 was deposited into my account from the money I had made through my blog.
Five years later, I am a debt-free college graduate working on my blog full-time, have a team that is rapidly growing, and make more money than my dad (I used to say kidding, but now I actually do ;))
I came across mommy bloggers that were making $100k a month from home, and I knew I could do the same from my dorm. I restarted my blog and treated it like a real business from that moment on.
2018
I started college and found out I have to pay for my entire college education so I knew I had to figure out a way to pay my loans.
2016
Officially started my blog. I posted here and there but it was only just a hobby.
2015
We finished off the Perfecting Blogging course offerings by launching Perfecting Email, one of the most intensive courses we have. We're quickly growing and it's so exciting!
2021
We launched our courses, started a second business (interior design!), hired our first full-time employees and got an office!
2020
I hired my first employees and had my first 5-figure month. I really perfected my blogging and Pinterest strategies and things were starting to take off.
2019
